Photographer Carine Thévenau and Artist Yoshio Honjo explore childhood nostalgia through the fading playgrounds of Shiga Prefecture, Japan and traditional children's toys from the Edo Period.
The images are captured on film during natsu - the summertime. In response to the collection of photographs Yoshio Honjo has painted watercolour paintings of traditional Japanese toys from the Edo -Period (1603-1868).
